By John Maczko Jan 13, 2026 | 7:42 AM

The Stark County Sheriff’s Office used a drone to locate a man wanted for a parole violation after he fled a traffic accident in Nimishillen Township.  after deputies learned that 56 year old David Osler was on parole for a 1992 murder in Cuyahoga County, and had an active warrant for a parole violation, the department launched the drone, covering the area and quickly spotted the man in the nearby woods. The drone was equipped with a thermal imaging camera.  He was taken into custody without incident and booked into jail.
