A group of co-workers in NE Ohio won big in a recent Powerball game. According to the Ohio Lottery, the group of 27 workers, who regularly pool their money to play the lottery, won just $8 after playing the Powerball on Wednesday December 17th. They then used their winnings to purchase a $10 ticket for the following drawing on Saturday December 20th. This time they hit big—winning $1 million. After taxes, the group will split just over $732,000, about $27,000 each. The winning ticket was purchased at a gas station on East Avenue in Tallmadge.
