Michigan State Police say a local man has died following a snowmobile accident in the Upper Peninsula. Troopers say the victim is a 22 year old man from Garrettsville. His name has not yet been released. Authorities say the crash happened around 10:30pm Saturday on a trail near a highway in Shingleton Township, Alger County, Michigan. Troopers say the snowmobile crashed into a tree during a turn.
