A new roundabout is coming to Stark County. A project to construct a new roundabout to improve safety at the intersection of State Route 173 and Columbus Road NE on the Nimishillen, Marlboro, Township line just scored about $4.5 million in state funds. Ohio governor Mike DeWine earlier this month announced the funding as the state will invest nearly $100 million in Ohio Department of Transportation Highway Safety Improvement finds in 39 projects in 27 Ohio counties. The roundabout in the Harrisburg area is the only Stark County project.
