Akron residents in need of a place to warm up this week can take shelter at the Summit Lake Community Center, 380 W. Crosier Street, through Sunday February 1st. The center will be open between 8am and 7pm each day. The Emergency Overnight Warming Center, 111 East Voris street, will be open from 7pm to 8am through Friday January 30th.
