A 24 year old man was shot in Akron late Monday evening. Akron police say it happened around 11pm Monday in the 1400 block of Andrus Street, off East Emerling Avenue, near Curtis Park. The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to the hospital with what are being reported as non life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
