A New Philadelphia man has died after a 2 vehicle crash in Sugarcreek Township on U.S. Route 250 on February 26th. The Canton Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol reports that 28 year old Gaspar Lopez, was pronounced dead at Aultman Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. Lopez was a front seat passenger of a Toyota RAV 4 heading NW on U.S. Route 250. It collided with a GMC Sierra traveling SE on the same roadway. The patrol says the Toyota traveled left of center and struck the GMC head-on.
