A 38 year old woman was killed after crashing her motorcycle around 9:15pm Friday night in Tuscarawas County. According to the New Philadelphia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on South Wooster Avenue near 7th Street SW in the village of Strasburg. According to a release, Nichole Vanmeter was riding a Harley Davidson on South Wooster Avenue when she hit a Toyota Rav4 that was pulling out of a driveway. Vanmeter was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead. The state patrol says, she was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
