A 34 year old Akron man has been sentenced to 9 to 13 and a half years in prison for trafficking meth. In March, Dominique Prince, pleaded guilty to 1 count of aggravated trafficking in drugs. In September 2025, an Akron detective and K-( officer intercepted a package at a local shipping company that contained 5 pounds, or about 2300 grams of crystal meth to be delivered to the home where Prince was staying. Police say Prince arrived at the residence, obtained the drug parcel, and attempted to leave before being arrested by officers. A search warrant of the residence turned up meth and scales in Prince’s bedroom.
