One person was arrested in connection with the investigation into the weekend fire of Roush’s Market on West Thornton Street in Akron. Crews responded to the fire on Saturday morning around 6am after heavy black smoke was reported in the area. The fire was quickly brought under control but the damage left behind was extensive. No injuries were reported. Police say the store surveillance shoed a suspect appearing to pour what they believe is gasoline on the building. About 10 minutes later calls came in that the market was on fire.
