Firefighters save woman

Springfield Township Firefighters rescued an unconscious woman from a fire after a neighbor reported that she heard smoke alarms from the home.  Firefighters encountered smoke throughout the McElwain Road home, removed the woman from the home, and started life saving measures.  She regained consciousness and was taken to the hospital. At last report she was listed in stable condition.
