The Browns are the Browns and there has not been a ton to be excited about when it comes to that team the last few years. Now one of the things you actually looked forward to when watching the team is gone. Myles Garrett, one of the best Browns players ever, who just broke the regular season sack record last season, has been traded to the Rams, for defensive end Jared Verse, and 3 draft picks. It was probably a move that was coming eventually, but I think a lot of us were in denial and hoping it would never come to that. What little optimism anyone had for this Browns season now seems even less optimistic than before. Good for Garrett that he has a chance to chase a ring with the Rams. Bad for us that such an incredible player now longer calls Cleveland home. Until we figure out the quarterback, which may never happen, we will continue to lose great players like him. I think we all keep thinking, one day we will get a star or two traded to us, because we are close to a Super Bowl. Trying to be hopeful about that, but this team rarely gives us hope. And this season already is starting to feel like it’s over before it starts.
