3 people were taken to the hospital after a sprint car crashed into the infield during Monday night’s Ohio Spring Speedweek event at Wayne County Speedway in East Union Township. authorities say the car struck 3 people when it wrecked in the infield during one of the races. Two of the victims were in critical condition. The third victim suffered minor injuries. Racing resumed roughly 20 minutes after the accident. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is expected to release additional information later today.
