West Nile arrives in Akron

The threat of the West Nile virus has arrived in Akron.  Surveillance testing on mosquitos in Summit County, one of the 5 Ohio counties where there have been positive results for West Nile.  The other 4 counties–Portage, Stark, Richland, and Franklin counties.  Symptoms include: fever, headaches, body aches, nausea, vomiting, rash on chest, neck or back.  For more information, go to scph.org.
