Man in critical condition after crash

interstate 77 North in Canton was shut down Monday evening following a crash.  Officials say, a man was driving a pickup truck around 6:30pm when he veered off the road, went through a median and crashed into an embankment and into the West branch of Nimishillen Creek.  Crews found the vehicle upside down and fully submerged, with a man trapped inside.  Crews extricated the victim from the truck, transported to Aultman Hospital in critical condition.  Both north and southbound lanes were closed while crews worked the scene.
