Ohio is experiencing its 3rd measles outbreak of the year with 196 cases reported across 16 counties. The vast majority of measles cases in Ohio are among unvaccinated individuals. Nationwide, measles cases have reached a 35 year high. Data released last week by the Johns Hopkins University shows 3.387 measles cases have been reported so far in 2026, the highest total in 35 years.
