New season, same Cavs???

The Cavs made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals last year before being swept away in 4 games by the soon to be NBA Champion.  In one game they had a 22 point lead in the 4th quarter and blew it and ended up losing in overtime.  They had no one, who could make a shot, no one to strong arm the other team, and the coach let the Knicks go on a huge run while sitting on his timeouts.   So for the last 5 months they said they were working on changing that and preparing to improve this season.  Well guess what???  The first game of the season it was like Deja Vu all over.  They have a 24 point lead on the road at Philadelphia against LeBron James and the 76ers, and a 29 point lead at one point in the 3rd quarter.  You already know what I’m going to say next.  The Cavs lost 114-106.  And it was just like the Knicks playoff game. Can’t make a shot, can’t strong arm the opponent, and twice the 76ers went on runs where coach Atkinson took way too long to call timeouts.  It was like they fixed nothing.  We all know its just one game, but continuing to go down this path, continuing to blow these big leads, give no fan any faith that this team can do anywhere near what they did last year.  Was an awful way to end the season and now an awful way to start it.  Time for this team and this coach to figure it out.
