An update out of Lake County, nearly 80 workers will be out of a job today after a salt mine flooded. According to Cleveland.com, Morton salt will lay off 77 workers today. The company said impacted employees will receive 60 days of pay and receive their benefits through the end of the year. Employees were safely evacuated when the mine flooded last week.
