The Ohio Department of Transportation has advised the City of Kent that repairs to the concrete deck overlay on both Haymaker Parkway bridges (Kent- between Water and River Streets, and a second between Middlebury and Longmere Drive/Main Street) will begin on Wednesday November 4th and are expected to last until early next week. The construction repair work will require lane closures on both bridges which will likely cause traffic delays, so plan accordingly. The bridge over Tallmadge Avenue will require one westbound lane to be closed, while work on the other bridge will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction.
