The 93rd Missouri FFA State Convention is underway in Sedalia.
Today (Friday) was the kickoff of the annual event and will wrap up tomorrow (Saturday) at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
Some of the first day’s results are:
Mexico FFA placed second out of 350 chapters, based on chapter activities including leader development, community service, and strengthening agriculture.
Mexico FFA President Grant Norfleet placed first in the state in advanced public speaking.
Community R-6 FFA’s Emily Hoyt was selected to serve as Secretary on the State Officer Team for the 2021-2022 term.
Paris FFA’s Ag Issues Team took first place in the state.
