A convicted murderer who had been on the run since fleeing a vehicle pursuit in Callaway County on Saturday is now back in police custody.
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Department reported on social media yesterday (Tuesday) Stephen Thorp was arrested in an adjoining county.
Thorp is currently wanted in reference to a Randolph County misdemeanor warrant for resisting arrest.
He does have a past murder conviction, however was on supervised parole.
