Hundreds of buyers and sellers were in Mexico Saturday for the National Sheep Sale for Katahdin Hair Sheep International. The organization held their convention at the Audrain 4-H Fairgrounds Thursday and Friday and capped off their events with the sale Saturday morning. 1340 KXEO spoke with attendees from Georgia, Kentucky, North Dakota, Texas, Indiana, Pennsylvania, California and Puerto Rico with buyers registered from Florida, Nevada, Iowa, and Maryland. Those that KXEO spoke with were very complimentary of the hospitality and friendliness of Mexico and it’s central U.S. location for travel purposes.
