The Mexico High School Bulldogs Baseball Team fell short in a 10-6 loss to the Fulton Hornets last (Monday) night at the Fulton Tournament.

Big games from Jesse Fennewald who went 2-4 with 4 RBI and 1 run and Andy Runge who was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI and 1 run.

Mexico is 8-10 on the season and will be back in action tonight against the Moberly Spartans at 5pm.

The Mexico High School Bulldogs Boys Tennis Team lost 5-4 to the Missouri Military Academy.

Ryan Pemberton recorded a singles win for the Bulldogs.

In doubles Haden Frazier and Ryan Pemberton won by tiebreaker.

Carter McIntosh and Brendan McKeown also recorded a double win for Mexico.

Next up is the North Central Missouri Conference Tournament tomorrow (Wednesday).

Singles 1-4 will play at Mexico’s courts and singles 5 and 6 and doubles will play at the Fulton High School.

Play starts around 9am.

The St. Louis Cardinals are now winners of 5 in a row after a 6-5 victory over the New York Mets at Busch Stadium last (Monday) night.

Nolan Arenado hit a three blast in the third inning to the tie the game and Harrison Bader launched a homer.

The Cardinals combined for 9 hits.

St. Louis and Milwaukee are now tied for first place in the National League Central.

The Kansas City Royals lost 8-6 to the Cleveland Indians at the K.

It marks Kansas City’s fourth loss in their last 6 games.

The St. Louis Blues defeated the Anaheim Ducks 3-1 at the Enterprise Center.

Brayden Schenn scored, Justin Faulk had 2 assists, and Jordan Binnington made 19 saves.
