The 8th ranked Mexico Bulldogs Football team will be at home tonight (Friday) hosting the Orchard Farm Eagles.

The Bulldogs have moved in the Class 3 State rankings to number 8 this week, up one spot from 9th last week.

The Bulldogs are 2-0 while Orchard Farm has a record of 1-1.

The game can be heard on AM 1340 KXEO and will be streaming on KXEO.com.

The Pearl Motor Company pregame starts at 6:30 featuring an interview with Mexico Head Coach Steve Haag.

Kickoff is at 7.

Other week 3 games include Centralia hosts Brookfield.

Hallsville is at home playing Versailles.

Missouri Military Academy is at home against Father Tolton.

Monroe City hosts South Shelby.

And Paris against Scotland County.

The Mexico Girls Tennis team picked up a conference road win 8-1 over Kirksville last (Thursday) night.

Head Coach Kim Costley says it was a strong outing and Shelby Kennemore continues to play strong at the #1 position.

Other singles winners for Mexico include Katie Gooch, Estrella Ramirez-Lopez, Jocelyn Jarquin-Garcia and Winona Whelan.

Doubles winners were Shelby Kennemore and Lily Yager.

Mexico is 4-2 on the year.

In high softball the Mexico Lady Bulldogs notched a 19-2 win over the Hannibal Pirates.

The Community R6 Lady Trojans fell 15-3 to Silex.
