A Mexico High School graduate and current Mizzou senior is finding her voice through writing.
Lauren Quinlan is the College Farmer columnist for Missouri Ruralist Magazine.
She is majoring in agricultural education and leadership with a minor in agribusiness management and a certificate in floral artistry and management.
Lauren is the daughter of Dan and Dot Quinlan and grew up north of Mexico on a cattle and row crop operation.
The College Farmer started at Mizzou in 1904 and was a stand-alone publication before becoming a column in Missouri Ruralist in the 1970s.
Wellsville native Will Robinson, now a reporter for Brownfield, is a College Farmer alumni.
