CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Monday).
A suspicious person at Lakeview Park.
Vandalism on North Western.
A stealing or theft on Ashley Street.
A report of child abuse or neglect at the Hassen Apartments.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A 2 car accident reported at Moser’s at 101 West Monroe last (Monday) night.
According to the accident report it happened around 5:21pm when a vehicle driven by a 16 year old Mexico resident turned onto Monroe and began to Hydroplane, spinning into a vehicle driven by 44 year old Celia M. Graves of Mexico.
No injuries reported.
A 2 car accident in the 100 block of Monroe last (Monday) night.
According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by by 46 year old Elizabeth Hoover of Mexico was backing up and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by 16 year old Martinsburg resident.
No injuries reported.
A 2 car accident last (Monday) night in the 800 block of West Boulevard.
According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 50 year old Melissa Jointer of Mexico stopped to let pedestrians cross the road and was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 38 year old Amanda Thomas of Mexico.
No injuries were reported.
