CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Wednesday):
A utility problem on North Olive.
Vandalism at Fairground Road.
A domestic verbal incident on East Holt.
A stealing or theft at 7235 South Clark and West Breckenridge.
A missing person on South Washington.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A 2 car accident reported last (Wednesday) night in the 1700 block of South Clark.
According to the accident report it happened just before 7pm.
A vehicle driven by 62 year old Michael Batty of Mexico stopped for a vehicle in front of him that abruptly hit their brakes to turn and vehicle driven by 22 year old Cody Nitcher of Auxvasse ran into Batty’s vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
A 2 car accident on South Clark at Boulevard last (Wednesday) night.
According to the accident report it happened just after 8pm when a vehicle driven by 55 year old Raymond Jaque of Hallsville struck a vehicle driven by 45 year old Paul W. Smith Jr. of Centralia in the rear passenger side.
No injuries were reported.
