State Ranked Mexico Bulldogs Win Big Against Orchard Farm To Remain Perfect On The Season

The State ranked Mexico Bulldogs Football team kept their perfect record in tact after defeating the Orchard Farm Eagles 42-6 at Hawthorne Heights tonight.

Orchard Farm made the first miscue of the game snapping the ball out of the end zone for a safety and it was 2-0 Mexico at the 10:37 mark of the first quarter.

On the Bulldogs first possession they started at the 20 yard line and went 80 yards that was capped off by an Anthony Shivers 32 yard rushing touchdown and it was 8-0 with 9:13 to go in the first quarter, and this is your Jackson Street Drug/Webber Pharmacy play of the game.

Mexico’s offense would go on to score 4 more times in the first half.

It included two rushing touchdowns from Michael White and two more touchdowns on the ground for Anthony Shivers.

Mexico would take a 26-0 lead into halftime.

It was a running clock to start the second half and the Bulldogs would score again with 5:49 to go in the third quarter on a 45 yard touchdown pass from Ty Sims to Anthony Shivers.

It was 42-0 Mexico.

Orchard Farm would score it’s only touchdown of the game on a 45 yard pass at 3:20 in the fourth quarter.

Mexico’s Michael White finished the game with 118 yards on the ground and 2 rushing touchdowns.

Anthony Shivers totaled 84 yards on 8 carries with 3 rushing touchdowns and one through the air, and finished with a 4 touchdown night.

Mexico improved to 3-0 on the season and play their first road and conference game in one week against the Marshall Owls.
