MoDot is announcing today (Wednesday) upcoming bridge work in Boone and Callaway Counties.
The westbound I-70 bridge over Auxvasse Creek east of Kingdom City in Callaway County will be rehabbed by Emery Sapp & Sons beginning this summer and should be complete by the end of the year.
The 1.212 million dollar project will have one lane of the bridge closed during the work.
In Boone County, Emery Sapp & Sons will also rehab the bridges over Perche Creek on both directions of I-70.
Work is set to begin this spring and be complete by the end of the year.
Also in Boone County, the bridge over Little Cedar Creek on the outer road of I-70 between Route Z and Purdy Lane will be replaced by a box culvert.
Work is expected to begin later in the summer and will have the outer road closed for up to three months.
