Akron police are investigating a robbery that occurred around 930am at the Dollar General in the 900 block of Copley Road. The clerk told police, a man entered the store , produced a handgun, and then demanded cash from the register. When the clerk couldn’t open the register, the suspect fled on foot. The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and facemask. No injuries were reported.
