5 kids have been arrested in connection with a brutal attack on a 52 year old woman at an Akron bus stop on August 5th. Two boys and five girls, aged 10 to 16 were arrested earlier this week and charged with felonious assault and aggravated robbery for the attack on the woman at a bus stop at Arlington and Barbara Avenue in Akron. The victim was repeatedly punched and kicked moments after she stepped off the METRO bus. She suffered facial injuries, numerous other injuries in the attack. The kids beat her up and took her purse and other items before taking off. The juveniles were placed in the juvenile detention center.
