At what point does Major League Baseball finally add a salary cap? The NBA and NFL both have one, why not baseball, which is totally out of control. The Dodgers have thrown over 1 billion dollars at 3 players this offseason. The Guardians so far, 5 million for 2 players. That means the Dodgers have spent over a billion more than the Guardians already and its early still in the offseason. The small market teams have a slim chance to really be competitive every year. In the NFL any team has a chance to win it all. Not in baseball. You figure eventually as baseball’s popularity continues to go down, they may actually have to implement a cap, but don’t hold your breath. They will probably wait until baseball has fallen out of touch with the youth of this country and put the sport in danger before they do anything anyway. So get used to more years where the Dodgers, Yankees, etc, spend a billion more than most of the other clubs. What a joke!
