Goodbye to the 4 team college playoff and Hello next season to the 12 team playoff. It’s about time. This year proved that there needs to be a playoff that involves 4 more teams. They should have expanded the playoffs years ago, but at least now it is finally coming. 12 teams playing for the title is so much better than 4. That means one loss during the regular season doesn’t totally derail your championship aspirations. The excitement for what comes next year should be so many times more than what it is this year. Definitely looking forward to it and definitely think it can’t get here fast enough. Thoughts of Michigan-Ohio State or Alabama-Georgia playing a twice a year, once in the playoffs, make me look forward to it even more. No more undefeated teams being left out. Lets hope next year will make us forget of this 4 team system we had. Time to expand. Well past due.
