The Browns made a couple of surprising moves, parting ways with their offensive coordinator, their running backs coach, and their tight ends coach. After the playoff game, where they were blown out 45-14, you would have thought they would have taken a bigger look at the defense. Maybe they still will. But getting rid of some of the offensive staff caught a lot of people by surprise. I understand last year they fired the defensive coordinator and the special teams coach and look how those two parts of the team improved. The team had the #1 defense all year, except when they forgot to show up in the playoffs, and the special teams was vastly improved as well. I guess they decided to try it with the offense too, and see if they can kickstart that group when Deshaun Watson comes back, just like it kick started the defense and special teams last year. We shall see if it works. People will expect much more out of this team next year. Time to win the division and get a home game in the playoffs. It’s been 1989 since that happened last. We have waited long, long enough.
