The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a phone scam going around. County officials say scammers are claiming to be from the sheriff’s office and calling about a jury duty related matter. Scammers tell the victim they must pay to resolve the issue. Stark County Sheriff George Maier is reminding people that is not a policy to call and request funds or payments.
