A 38 year old Akron man was shot in an Akron parking lot Wednesday morning during an altercation; the shooter is still on the loose. According to police, the shooting happened around 840am in the 1400 block of S. Hawkins avenue. On scene, police found the victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Anyone with information, call Akron police at 330-375-2490.
