Akron police announced yesterday an arrest has been made in a recent shooting which took place in the 14000 block of S. Hawkins Avenue on February 7th. The shooting left a 38 year old man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He continues to recover from his injuries. Akron Police say, 38 year old Christopher Taylor of Akron, has been charged with felonious assault in connection to the shooting. He was booked into the Summit County jail.
