3 arrested during Springfield Township drug raid

Members of the Springfield Township Police Department and the Metro SWAT team raided a house on Tuesday after getting tips from the public that a drug operation was taking place. Authorities say they received tips about numerous vehicles coming and going at a home in the 1600 block of Ewart Drive. Recently multiple drug possession arrests were made in connection with cars leaving the home. Tuesday morning, SWAT descended on the home , and 3 individuals were arrested on various charges, including active warrants, weapons under disability, drug possession, and possessing drug paraphernalia. Additional charges are pending. Tammi Skaggs was arrested for a warrant out of the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, for failure to appear on original charges for possession of dangerous drugs. George Springston was charged with possession of drugs and Russell Pratt was charged with having weapons under disability.
