The Guardians had another offseason where the did next to nothing. Maybe someone in the outfield will hit this year, but there is no guarantee, and the ownership and front office have proved once again they won’t spend the money to get someone to help. They are hanging their hat on a bunch of second year pitchers and the return from injury of Shane Bieber and Triston McKenzie. If the pitching doesn’t hold up though, this could get ugly very quickly and could go down hill even quicker. Maybe they will pull a rabbit out of the hat and get a miracle and the team can hang toward the top of the AL Central race. I think most of us won’t believe their is a chance of any of that happening unless we see it.
