Mayor Malik says people should fuel up in advance of the event and in anticipation of the crowds. He also says, people should enjoy the eclipse from their homes, if possible. And the mayor says it’s important that drivers not park on the side of the highway to view the eclipse. Drivers should also pay close attention to traffic reports. The area is expecting a significant increase in traffic and tourists.
