Authorities are investigating after a 9 year old was hit by a car while crossing the street near Medina Public Square on his way to school Tuesday morning. The child is expected to be OK. According to the Medina Police, the child hit Tuesday morning is the first pedestrian to be hit in 2024, but in 2023 there were 6 people hit and in 2022 there were two. Police say the driver who was involved in Tuesday’s incident was driving without a license and charges will be filed.
