A woman accused of hitting a 9 year old boy walking to school in Medina has now been formally charged. Shyrene Michelle Vargas faces 4 charges including failure to yield to a pedestrian, driving without a permit, 2 counts of driving under a suspended license. The young boy, fortunately suffered just scrapes and bruises. his parents are now pushing for a crossing guard at that intersection.
