A jury in Summit County found 31 year old Deccari Kinard of Columbus, guilty in connection with the road rage shooting death of 40 year old George Jensen in May of 2023. Jurors found Kinard guilty of the following charges:
**2 counts of voluntary manslaughter with firearm specifications
**Felonious assault with a firearm specification and a drive-by shooting specification
**Discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises with a firearm specification
On May 17, 2023, Kinard shot and killed Jensen Following a road rage incident as the two drove on I-76 in Norton. Kinard then fled to Columbus. He was arrested about a month later. Kinard is scheduled to be sentenced on April 12.
