A 20 year old man was shot and killed near an apartment complex Wednesday in Akron. Police responded to a shots fired call around 415am in the 1900 block of Newton Street. First responders located the man in a parking lot. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. The man has been identified as 20 year old Alexander Ford of Akron. Manner of death is homicide.
