This month, the City of Akron is taking steps to reduce speeding in the community. The city will begin installing 30 temporary speed tables and 40 more solar, speed limit signs this month. Maple Street will have a permanent speed table installed while a number of other streets will have temporary speed tables installed. They will be removed in the fall. Signs will be posted to alert drivers and post cards have been mailed to residents.
