The Browns made the playoffs last season. The Cavs are in the playoffs now. The Guardians are off to a good start and may possibly be heading to the playoffs as well. It’s only about a fourth of the way through the baseball season and the Guardians have one of the best records in the American League. At the moment they are putting themselves in a good position to play well into October. The biggest worry is, if they can stay close to the top, will the ownership of this team let the front office make the moves necessary to push them into the postseason. I think most fans, don’t think they will do this once again. The offseason they really did nothing and so far the Guardians have exceeded expectations. But this team is going to need help if they stay in the playoff race after this good start. Maybe we finally get a year where the ownership finally approves some big moves for the stretch run. Or maybe they hold on to their money, like they usually do, and we watch another good season evaporate quickly. Only time will tell. But this fanbase has now faith in the owners of the team and to tell you the honest truth, you can’t blame them.
