The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle fatal crash that occurred Wednesday morning around 5am on State Route 226 in Wooster Township in Wayne County. According to the patrol, 64 year old David Ellis, of Shreve, drove off the roadway, struck a culvert and guardrail, before his vehicle went down an embankment and landing in a creek bed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
