Wadsworth police are investigating a shooting that involved their officers. Police say they responded to a home in the 200 block of Durling Drive around 9pm last night on reports of a man having a gun threatening to shoot himself. shortly after police got there they reported shots have been fired. It’s not clear if the gunfire had been exchanged with the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. At this point, his name is not being released. Ohio BCI is investigating and the officers involved have been placed on paid administrative leave, which is standard procedure.
