After an investigation, Norton police, Summit Metro Park Rangers, and the State Fire Marshall’s Office say, the woman who claimed she was attacked in the Silver creek Metro Park in Summit County, made up the whole story. The 32 year old woman claimed she was attacked by 2 men who threw a flammable liquid on her that ignited and burned her. The incident was reported to police on Sunday. In a release, officials say there is no public threat resulting from this false claim….and hope the person involved receives the care and support she needs.
