The Ohio Turnpike is suspending all late fees, collections, and registration holds for 60 days after getting an overwhelming amount of calls about mailed invoices. This all comes after the turnpike upgraded its toll plazas and collection systems in April leading to confusion. Plus, there has been an increase in turnpike scams asking drivers to pay fees they actually don’t owe. as a reminder the Ohio Turnpike does not ever request payments by texts.
